Once again, Macs get the boot.Does anyone see anything wrong with this email that was sent to all cofc student?
Well I do!!! It's so biased. They say, "we have deals with Dell and Apple," yet they don't mention Apple's computers at all. This sentence: "Should anyone decide to purchase a Dell computer, please make sure you use the CofC member identification number (BS9901310) to ensure you get all possible discounts." Should have been: "Should anyone decide to purchase a Dell computer OR AN APPLE LAPTOP, please make sure you use the CofC member identification number (BS9901310) to ensure you get all possible discounts." I'm so fucking tired of the world treating Apple like a non-existant entity. You then say "well they only have 5% of the market." I WONDER WHY?!!?!?! It's because dumbfucks like the people who wrote this email do not give a fuck about them. This email was sent to every student on campus, so they'll essentially unconsciously form the same opinion. One day, Apple will take back what was stolen from them by Microsoft's shady marketing practices of yesteryear. Just think of what'll happen if 10% of everyone who bought an iPod buys an Apple laptop. The industry will definitely get rocked. ¶1:10 PM e-mail me (5) comments Thursday, February 10, 2005 Diet Cherry Vanilla Lemon Flavored Shit
![]() Why in the hell are there so many different "flavors" of Pepsi? So many different types of Coca-Cola?? Have you tried any of these new spinoffs??? THEY ALL SUCK! They taste horrible. I always try it once, but then go back to the original. And I bet that's what a lot of people do. If you're going to create a drink, why the fuck wouldn't you at least make it taste good? Different Types of Pepsi: Pepsi Edge Pepsi Twist (also Diet) Wild Cherry Pepsi (also Diet) Pepsi Vailla (also Diet)) Holiday Pepsi (?discontinued) Diet Pepsi Pepsi ONE Pepsi Blue (discontinued) Crystal Pepsi (discontinued) - this actually tasted pretty good! Coca-Cola's list is even longer! I think the world would be a lot happier if the Pepsi company just made Pepsi (and Mountain Dew), and the Coca-Cola company just made Coca-Cola (and Mellow Yellow). But then again, the majority Americans are dumb stupid consumers. They'll buy anything again and again, even if it tastes bad. My inspiration (thanks Stephen):
¶7:54 PM e-mail me (8) comments Wednesday, February 02, 2005 Why Are Black People So Loud? (the "Nigga Please" remix)In America, if you're around a group of black people on a college campus, or in any school, chances are...you can hear their entire retarded conversations about "he-said, she-said" stuff. Or, if they're not talking about the "he-said, she-said" stuff, they're talking about the latest music videos that come on BET, or they're insulting each other. Alright, of course I don't mean all black people are loud, but shit; black folk in generally have more negative stereotypes against them than any other minority (i.e. - we'll steal your shit, we can't speak clearly, we're dumb in general, we're dangerous, us black guys will get all your white women, we could care less about politics, we smoke weed everyday, all of us have guns, we're poor, etc.), so why add "we're loud and obnoxious" to the list? What makes these negroes turn up the volume when they sense another negro nearby? It's a own form of racism. "I'm not going to be as enthusiastic talking to crackers as I am with my niggas." It's a form of discrimination that's totally indirect, and inconspicuous. AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICES THIS? A white redneck speaks to a black guy, "Hey boy, we don't want your kind here." A black person speaks to a white guy, "Hey, how you doing." Yeah, the redneck is completely direct with his form of racism. However, the black person casually greets the white guy. Trust me, that's equally as racist. That same black person would be a lot louder, and a lot more friendlier with another black person. RACISM!!!! You have a person treating another person differently based on their race. Just be your goddamn self! What the fuck? My sisters (for example), well, maybe not my oldest sister, but my youngest older sister greets everyone equally, and doesn't discriminate. Sure, people call me a "white" black guy, however my youngest older sister is proof that a "black" black person can be themselves and happily live on a white piece of paper (um, keep reading). Have you ever seen one black dot on a white piece of printer paper? I'm sure if that dot had a consciousness, it would feel very alone. So, if someone happened to put another black dot on that paper, those two dots would probably shout as loud as they can to try and balance the noise coming from all that white paper. Too bad my analogy is fucked! Those two dots have no way of controlling where they are drawn; however people, on the other hand, have a fucking choice! Black dots in the real world do not have to feel alone, and like they can't have a conversation with "white paper." And they sure as fuck don't need to shout to the other black dots. Think of the world as a letter - you can't make a letter without the white paper and the black lines, yellow lines, red lines, blue lines, black dots, etc. A black dot that isn't written on white paper doesn't have any meaning - it's useless ... and thus, real black dots that do not know how to get along with the "white paper" are ANNOYING, IGNORANT, WORTHLESS, DOUCHE BAGS! You're in the minority! Get over it, and move on! Stop contributing to the stereotypes, and start contributing something to our society besides more racism! And shouting about things isn't going to change that. In particular, why are black women so fucking loud? I honestly don't know why. Also, I do not know why it's always the black guy or the black woman in the movie theater loudly talking to the screen. My friends and I were watching The Incredibles. There was this black guy in front of us that would loudly go, "Whoa" or "Damn" or "There you go" everytime the mom would stretch to hit bad guys. IT WAS A FAMILY FILM, and the guy was shouting obscenities. That's just not right, and it's annoying as fuck. I hate that, because now there will be atleast one white guy in there who is going to think, "Wow, that black guy is loud." AND that's going to eventually change into, "Wow, all black people are loud." Again, if black people hate stereotypes so badly, why add more? I just don't understand. Why do I feel like I'm the only black person in America trying to fight against all of these stereotypes (except for the big penis one)? I swear! I am the culmination of a black person who acts totally different from what the stereotypes tell me I should act. Sure, I have an articulation problem, but that's not because of my blackness! It's because I have a slight stutter, and I always get my w's and r's backwards. But besides that, I'm the epitome of the black dot that gets along with white paper. I don't see the world in color. When I see someone, I don't even think, "Wow, he's white, I'm gonna just half greet him and treat him differently." And I don't think, "Wow, he's black, he's ignorant." I treat everyone like they're ignorant at first, and that's not racist at all. That's something I'm proud of, and I wish more people in America thought like that. We could learn a lot from other countries, like Canada, The U.K., etc. Especially you niggers out there. ¶10:31 AM e-mail me (7) comments top September 2002 / October 2002 / November 2002 / December 2002 / January 2003 / February 2003 / March 2003 / April 2003 / May 2003 / June 2003 / July 2003 / August 2003 / September 2003 / October 2003 / November 2003 / December 2003 / January 2004 / February 2004 / March 2004 / April 2004 / May 2004 / June 2004 / July 2004 / August 2004 / September 2004 / October 2004 / November 2004 / December 2004 / January 2005 / February 2005 / March 2005 / April 2005 / May 2005 / June 2005 / July 2005 / August 2005 / September 2005 / October 2005 / November 2005 / December 2005 / January 2006 / February 2006 / March 2006 / April 2006 / May 2006 / August 2006 / October 2006 / December 2006 / April 2007 / August 2007 / September 2007 / November 2007 / January 2008 / February 2008 / March 2008 / April 2008 /
