Another Semester in the CanIf I weren't a double major, I would have been done with college by now (Grr) - but no worries. The more degrees I have under my belt, the better. After this semester, I'm just nor understanding that my heart is more towards my Music major rather than my Computer Science major, based on my GPA's for each: 3.6 in music and 2.3 in computer science. Even though my 2.3 GPA in Computer Science is fucking embarrassing, I'm still proud of it. I honestly semi-tried, and that's all I ask out of myself. Conversely, I don't really try at all with my Music major and it's a fucking 3.6! WTF. Either it's an extremely easy major, or it just comes natural to me.My grades were acceptable this semester, despite making another D in a computer science class. The shit is just hard! Compiler Designs??? Basically, if something interests me I put my all in it. If it doesn't, I focus my attention on to other things. Some things in that class were fucking cool, most things weren't; visa vie, D! But I did manage to raise my accumulative GPA - from a 2.971 to a 2.98 ....FUCK YEA!!!!! My goal is to graduate with an accumulative GPA of 3.0, and I think it's totally possible. Sure it sucked losing my scholarships and shit, but at least I have a social life and I'm having good times in college. I was gonna try to get into Computer Science grad school, but it might not happen. I'll fucking try though. My plans for the Summer is to work on my debut album. No, it's not going to be a funny childish album featuring tracks that parodies all the vast orifices of musicology, it's going to be a serious attempt on my part to find my own musical identity/style/etc. Honestly, anyone can make songs like Booty Fuck ...but I don't consider that art. Well, not art in the I'm-contributing-something-of-some-significance-to-the-future-direction-of-music, but art in the ha-ha-that's-catchy-and hilarious. I see bits and pieces of the future of music as I see it, and I'm going to try my best to help its progression. It's going to complex, intriguing, and feature and array of emotional textures and colors. It's going to take a long fucking time to make, but I'm going to keep at it this Summer. And since all I'll be doing this Summer is working 9-5 mon thru fri, I should have plenty of time to dedicate to this project. You may not know it, but I finally got a house in Charleston (renting it out). I'm moving out of my house first week in June. Finally, independence. That should prove to provide interesting experiences for me. The house was a great find, and it even has a backyard ...WTF. A backyard in Downtown Charleston --> FUCK YEA!!! With all the working I'll be doing, little by little I'll get furniture ...and I'm planning on buying a huge fucking TV (without my parents knowing) with an awesome surround sound system. Sure, they want me to save my money for emergencies, but I think not having a complete home theater is one of the biggest emergencies one could have in life (besides cancer, a heart attack, getting in a car accident, and dying). Yea, a boring post this was. It's these damn pills I'm taking for stress and anxiety disease; nothing really makes me mad anymore. Nothing but country music. Goddamn country music. ¶5:02 PM e-mail me (0) comments top September 2002 / October 2002 / November 2002 / December 2002 / January 2003 / February 2003 / March 2003 / April 2003 / May 2003 / June 2003 / July 2003 / August 2003 / September 2003 / October 2003 / November 2003 / December 2003 / January 2004 / February 2004 / March 2004 / April 2004 / May 2004 / June 2004 / July 2004 / August 2004 / September 2004 / October 2004 / November 2004 / December 2004 / January 2005 / February 2005 / March 2005 / April 2005 / May 2005 / June 2005 / July 2005 / August 2005 / September 2005 / October 2005 / November 2005 / December 2005 / January 2006 / February 2006 / March 2006 / April 2006 / May 2006 / August 2006 / October 2006 / December 2006 / April 2007 / August 2007 / September 2007 / November 2007 / January 2008 / February 2008 / March 2008 / April 2008 /
